Josie and Paul are very communicative and thoughtful! We had to cancel our initial trip to Maui and rebook a year later, and they were super understanding and accommodating. We rented a Toyota Corolla for nearly 3 weeks. It had cold A/C the entire time, was cleaned impeccably, and had excellent tread on the tires (which helps ease your mind when driving in rain after a long sunny stretch or on narrow roads when passing other vehicles and needing to get closer to the edge of the pavement than can be comfortable). The car was SO cheap on gas!! We drove a fair bit to upcountry, and we only filled the tank every 4-5 days max. Their process for dropping the car off at the airport for you upon arrival is seamless, and they give you clear instructions on how to drop it off at the airport when you leave. They really have the entire process mastered!! Family members of mine own a condo on Maui, and nearly our entire family rents from Maui Cruisers every time we come, now that we know about them. We have all highly recommended them to eachother, and we highly recommend them to you!! Mahalo, Josie and Paul, we are very grateful for your lovely service!

Josie and Maui Cruisers made our 10 day vacation a success. Pick up and drop off was an absolute breeze. The Aloha spirit set the tone for our trip. We utilized their Honda HRV and it was a great vehicle for Maui. It was also much more fun to drive than I thought it would be and got excellent gas milage. I would recommend their services and vehicles 100%. I wish you all continued success, Mahalo!

2025 REVIEW: Once again, Maui Cruisers was simply the best option for car rental for our recent trip to Maui (April 5-19)!!! The most important factors were: - for convenience (you could not ask for an easier location to pick up/drop of the car).... - for price (so much more affordable than any other option...especially appreciated with our weaker Canadian dollar)... - and for AMAZING service by Josie and Paul!!! We also love supporting local and this couple is just wonderful! Yes, the Toyotas are a bit older but they run beautifully, are spacious, and the AC was perfect! Thanks again Josie and Paul for a wonderful experience...we will always highly recommend you to all looking for a great car rental option on Maui!!! We had a great experience renting from Maui Cruisers. It was so handy to have the van there ready for us at OGG and didn’t have to go on the tram to pick up from the rental place. They also had both of the car seats that I needed at no extra charge. So handy! It was an older van but ran well and very clean inside. We love older Siennas so we actually preferred it over a newer van. Super economical. After seeing the pricing from other places it was a steal! Will use them every time we go to Maui. Thank you Josie! 🙏

Renting a car from Paul and Josie of Maui Cruisers was an easy, pleasant experience. Pickup and drop-off at the airport was very convenient. The cost was far less than what we would have paid through other rental car places, even through Costco. Easily the lowest price around, especially if you're planning an extended rental. Highly recommended! Made our vacation that much nicer!!
