We will ask you to leave the vehicle in the airport parking lot and we will give you a designated location prior to your departure.

The minimum age requirement is 21 years old and we do not charge any special charges if you are under 25 years old

Our insurance company requires that you have proof of insurance on a vehicle in the United States or Canada.

We will leave the vehicle for you directly across from baggage claim we will text you images of the vehicle as well as specific pick up directions and if you have any trouble or phone lines are on 24 x 7

We will text you specifics on where exactly to leave your rental in the parking lot. Basicaly the same place you picked it up. We make it super easy.

If you have locked yourself out of the vehicle and you can actually see the keys you can call any locksmith or towing company of your choosing to get back into the vehicle. You can call Maui Cruisers but our rates are similar to either of those parties.

No need to do anything ! We do maintenance on all our cars regularly between rentals and keep everything reliable and running well.

Call 808-283-0688 to report the issue and unless it’s a minor issue we will absolutely replace the vehicle as quickly as possible usually within an hour.

All of our vehicles have a spare tire in the trunk or in the case of our minivans underneath the chassis of the vehicle.
Please install the spare tire and call Maui Cruisers for further instructions.

You can rent a vehicle with an international drivers license but you still must have proof of insurance on a vehicle in the United States or Canada.

Maui Cruisers only has the ability to deliver and pick up vehicles at Kahului Airport (OGG)

At Maui Cruisers we know rental prices are always changing and we want to be there for our customers with competitive price quotes for as long as possible. So we honor our quotes for a full 30 days.

At Maui Cruisers we know every now and then things come up and people have to cancel. And we want to extend our aloha spirit so that all of our customers have up until  24 hours prior to their flight to cancel their reservation with no cancellation fee.

At Maui Cruisers we gladly offer a very limited collection of used car seats, if we have any available. There are only a few we can offer and they are used, and may not be in the specific size required for all children. This a limited courtesy we extend free of charge, and as such we offer no refunds or guarantees. And we ultimately suggest bringing your own or buying one here to cater to your own childs needs. If you do buy one here, we are not able to give you any refunds and are not liable for anything to do with child seats or boosters while you rent from us. We do what we can in the spirit of aloha and look to support our customers as best we can with respect to what’s reasonable and what we have stated here. We also highly suggest researching proper ways to use child seats and booster seats in a rental car as your child’s safety is of paramount importance.

Maui Safe Driving Tips

We offer the following advice when you get behind the wheel of a car here: Don’t speed , don’t tailgate and most of all don’t blow your horn (unless it is a dire emergency). There are very few places on earth more precious to visit than here. So try to slow down and enjoy the relaxed pace of the tropics. After all isn’t that one of the reasons you came here?

“Don’t tailgate” is as much about respecting the person in front of you, as it is about your own self respect. If you are tailgating the person in front of you, you are creating animosity in that person which could very well come back to you in a negative way. It sounds crazy but people who live here are sensitive to and believe in these types of philosophies. So while you are here on this beautiful island, remember to relax, enjoy the ride and feel the Maui aloha!.

Drive with aloha & don’t get into situations where you need to use your horn! Its about slowing down with respect and having aloha for other drivers on the road, as well as peace and quiet on an already crowded island. Alot of times we blow our horn because we are impatient to get “there” but remember right now you are ! And where you wanna go will be there, so roll with the flow and drive with aloha ~ relax and enjoy the ride !!

It was our first time in Maui and having the flexibility to go from A to B was a must. Paul was phenomenal since the first time we spoke, he was transparent with the information and price.
